FAQ
Q: How high is it suitable for installation on a light pole?
A: The suggested mounting height is from 4 to 6 meters. This height range ensures that the road surface (around 6-10 meters in width) is evenly covered with light, resulting in the best lighting performance and efficiency. The exact coverage will be impacted by the light distribution curve and the width of the road.
Q: What does IP66 rating mean? Can it be used in rainy weather?
A: IP66 denotes that the luminaire is entirely dust-proof (the first digit '6') and protected against low-pressure water splashes from any direction (the second digit '6'). This means it can operate normally in rainy weather or even during storms, and it is the standard protection level for outdoor lighting.
Q: Is it complicated to install? What tools are required?
A: The installation is not difficult. The usual steps are: Fix the bracket on the top of the pole -> Attach the luminaire to the bracket with screws -> Connect the power cable (usually using waterproof connectors or terminals). Basic tools like wrenches, screwdrivers and possibly a drill (for drilling holes in the pole to secure the bracket) are needed. Detailed installation instructions are supplied.
